Star Wars Unlimited Rarity List
Updated June 13, 2026.
Star Wars Unlimited uses five rarities, marked by a symbol next to each card's collector number. On top of that ladder, most cards also exist as premium variants— Hyperspace, Foil, Showcase, Prestige, and Prestige Serialized — and the variant usually matters more to a card's price than its rarity symbol does.
| Rarity | Symbol | Cards | What it means |
|---|---|---|---|
| Common | Grey circle | 981 | The backbone of every set — roughly half its cards. A booster pack carries 9 commons. |
| Uncommon | Green diamond | 567 | Three per booster pack; deck staples and role-players. |
| Rare | Blue triangle | 603 | About one per pack (the dedicated rare-or-better slot). Most leaders are Rare. |
| Legendary | Purple/orange burst | 207 | Replaces the Rare in roughly one pack in six — the scarcest standard rarity. |
| Special | White S | 189 | Outside the standard ladder: bases, some leaders, and special inserts. |
Variants: the second axis
Rarity tells you how often a card's base printing shows up. Variants are separate printings of the same card with their own collector numbers and prices:
- Hyperspace — full-bleed alternate frames, roughly one per pack.
- Foil — one foil card per pack, of any rarity.
- Showcase — special-frame foil leaders, a handful per set.
- Prestige, Prestige Foil and Prestige Serialized — the premium full-art tier in recent sets; Serialized copies are individually numbered.
A Common with a chase variant can out-price a Legendary base card — which is why every price on this site names the printing it belongs to.
